This stainless steel soil blocker produces four perfectly shaped blocks at once, making it ideal for growers planning to pot up their transplants. Each block is designed with ample space for excellent air circulation, promoting strong, healthy root growth. It’s perfect for starting delicate cuttings like dahlias or cultivating larger seedlings such as melons, pumpkins, and more. Simply fill, flip, and press!

We used this on our farm last season to pot up all of our dahlia cuttings hence “The Dahlia Blocker”.

Choose from 4 potting up sizes: 1"x1", 1.25"x2", 1.5"x1.5", and 2"x2". The blocker is made of durable stainless steel and comes with a set of 8 press-fit dibbles of your choosing. If you don’t want to pot up, feel free to use the nylon dibble to make a 0.5” wide x .75” deep hole perfect for cuttings or large seeds.
